FLAME-RESISTANT FABRICS FOR PROTECTIVE APPAREL

A range of fabrics for those who face the heat

ENGINEERED TO PROTECT

Our flame-resistant (FR) expertise dates back to World War II. Today, we deliver advanced fabrics for fire service and high-risk industries—protecting firefighters, linemen, oil and gas workers, and more. From turnout gear to industrial workwear, our textiles are built for durability, comfort, and safety in hazardous environments.

LEADING THE WAY IN NON-PFAS FR PROTECTION

Milliken is committed to developing flame-resistant fabrics without the use of PFAS chemistries, ensuring safer solutions for high-risk industries. As the first and only U.S.-based manufacturer to offer a non-PFAS fabric for every layer of firefighter turnout gear, Milliken is leading the way in protection without compromise. Specify Milliken fabrics now to equip those who face the toughest conditions with innovative, non-PFAS protection.

STORIES THAT MATTER

"PFAS-free" refers to the absence of intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the formulation and manufacture of Milliken textile fabrics and finishes below 50 ppm of total organic fluorine using combustion ion chromatography or other similar methods. While PFAS chemistries are not deliberately used, trace levels may be present due to background environmental interference or limitations in current analytical detection methods.
